Essence of Django
we welcome Essence of Django – a vibrant celebration of gypsy jazz and swing, featuring some of the region’s most exciting and expressive musicians.
Drawing inspiration from the legendary sounds of Django Reinhardt, Stéphane Grappelli and the Hot Club of France, the band delivers music steeped in tradition while pushing the genre of “gypsy jazz” forward into a modern context. Expect fiery solos, foot-stomping rhythms, burning ballads and even some Latin inspired piece.
