We welcome Murray Robinson and Louis Cryer.
Murray is a saxophonist we’ve seen grow from one of the club’s New Jazz Generation to a graduate of Leeds Conservatoire and Musical Director of the Conservatoire Student Union Big Band. Louis is a fellow Conservatoire graduate, originally a classical guitarist, who now integrates technology to create unique guitar tones and melodies.
Together with Murray’s interest in exploring Western and Eastern jazz traditions, this promises an evening of engaging melodic innovation. With backing from the MG3.
The New Jazz Generation support spot also sees a swift return to the club of the Carpenter-Brockley Quartet, a local young quartet of brothers from two families.
