We welcome back saxophonist Jamiel Gallacher. We introduced Jamie at the Club two years ago, and he was featured last year in Leeds Conservatoire’s Emerging Artist Showcase.
Jamie has now added clarinet to his repertoire, not so usual in contemporary jazz, and we wanted to have him back for a second introduction, accompanied by Ivor Keech on keyboard, Bob Walker (bass) and Rowan Oliver (drums).
In the support slot is Little Wing. Following their appearance at our annual jam night, Little Wing is singer Angela Basson accompanied buy veteran session musician Simon Stafford. Expect a mix of sultry soul and bluesy bangers.
