Carioca Soul
Carioca Soul bring their infectious Latin exuberance to Scarborough Jazz Club. Inspired by the classic sounds of Sergio Mendes and Brasil ’66, the band creates an uplifting, danceable sound that has been wowing audiences since the band’s formation in 2019.
Led by pianist/musical director/composer Wayne Pollock, the band is fronted by two of Yorkshire’s best known jazz vocalists, Kate Peters and Jenny Smith, with John Marley (bass), John Settle (drums) and Rowan Oliver (percussion).
With a line-up like that you’d be hard pressed to find a better way to spend a summer evening. Advance booking recommended.
