The Big Easy
We welcome back The Big Easy. They were booked to play six months ago but a travel breakdown meant only three of them arrived. They brought the house down. This time we have the full band.
With a repertoire ranging from the early days of jazz, classic New Orleans tunes through to lively jump-jive and beyond, their dynamic, energetic and often virtuosic performances make them great to watch or, if you feel like it, perfect for a little dancing. High-energy swing is interspersed with moments of soulful-melancholy.
Led by trumpeter/vocalist Jon Scully, the band features Alex Fisher (saxophone), Harry Orme (guitar and vocals), Sam Jackson (double bass) and John Arnesen (drums).
