Bob Haddrell Quartet
We welcome the Bob Haddrell Quartet. Bob has a distinguished pedigree as one of the UK’s foremost blues keyboardist on organ and piano, and his vocals are very much in the style of Mose Allison.
In a long career Bob has toured and recorded in the USA with Chicago guitarists Jimmy Dawkins and Dave Specter, while in the UK he’s performed with the likes of Art Themen, Jim Mullen, Zoot Money and Paul Jones to name just a few.
In what amounts to a mini-tour of the North, Bob’s all-star quartet
includes two players well known to Scarborough audiences, Jon Taylor
on saxophone and flute and Derrick Harris on guitar, with Paul Smith
on drums.
This promises to be an evening of relaxed, warm, swinging jazz and blues
to sit back and enjoy.
