We welcome back saxophonist Jack Pearce, here last year with his Leeds based Quintet but this evening as our guest soloist.
Jack is quickly building a reputation as a dynamic, exciting saxophone player, effortlessly blending remarkable technique with emotive language. With extensive experience across various musical genres, he escapes the confines of conventional jazz, drawing heavily on the influence of hard and post-bop players while also infused with a strong sense of the rock music he grew up on. Supported tonight by the four-piece house band.
To open the evening, in the support slot we welcome the debut of punchy sax and drum duo, Jacob Robinson and Moses Carpenter.
